The case for continuity: how a BeWell 2.0 initiative could consolidate gains in digital and green skills

Overview
BeWell has laid the foundation for a European approach to digital and green skills development in the health and care workforce. A second phase, BeWell 2.0, could build on this foundation by moving from strategy to system-level implementation. It would pursue three mutually reinforcing areas of work: deepening skills intelligence, with particular attention to artificial intelligence skills, green skills, and core competencies; testing implementation through territorial pilots that generate continuous feedback into curricula and recognition tools; and creating the enabling conditions for lasting uptake through policy dialogue, coordination with other Blueprint Alliances, and alignment with key EU frameworks.
