Overview

The 2024 European Public Health (EPH) Conference, themed “Sailing the waves of European public health: exploring a sea of innovation,” highlighted the transformative role of innovation in addressing public health challenges. While often associated with technology, innovation encompasses creative policies, social prescribing, cross-sectoral collaboration, and community-driven initiatives. Showcasing efforts like “Public Health – The Musical” and Social Prescribing, the conference emphasised equity, sustainability, and citizen empowerment. Partnerships, digital inclusivity, and climate-resilient approaches emerged as key themes. By rethinking challenges through a portfolio approach and fostering active collaboration, public health can achieve sustainable, equitable, and impactful solutions, shaping a healthier future for all.
