Tuesday 17 September 2024, 13:00-14:00 CET

For years, researchers have said "it’s the prices" driving health expenditure growth to unsustainable levels. The recent cost-of-living crisis brought renewed attention to this issue as rapid price growth in the wider economy put additional upwards pressure on health sector prices.

But what drives prices in the health sector and what can health systems do to control price growth?

In this webinar, we consider the importance of understanding the determinants of health prices, how health prices vary across countries using new measurement techniques, and the extent to which health systems across Europe were resilient to economy-wide price pressures during the cost-of-living crisis. Join us to find out more!
