Skill mix for health system resilience: The role of patient navigators for providing integrated care

28 September 2021 12:00 – 13:00 CET

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for innovative solutions to meet the increasingly complex needs of patients.

Skill-mix changes are part of the solution, with many integrated care models developing care coordination roles for patient navigators. Patient navigators have been used to support integration in cancer care, transitional care, and care for vulnerable groups.

But what do patient navigators do? What skill-mix changes are required to support them? How might patient navigators strengthen integrated care? What can we learn from the COVID-19 experience to strengthen patient navigator roles in the future? Join us in this webinar to find out!
