Nathan Shuftan

Biography
Nathan is part of the team contracted to work with the Observatory at the Berlin hub and is based at the Berlin University of Technology.
His work covers health system and policy developments in European countries through projects like the State of Health in the EU programme, HiT health system reviews, Eurohealth, policy briefs and Observatory studies.
Nathan also supports the COVID-19 Health System Response Monitor, working with Observatory partners to track, write and publish timely and informative updates along with timely snapshot analyses on pandemic policymaking.

Nathan previously worked at the Observatory as a research assistant while he earned his Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. He also holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois.
