Biography

Loïc Garçon is the Team Lead (Management and Operations) of the Observatory and based in Brussels.

His role is to provide guidance to both the Director, the Deputy Director, as well as to other members of the Observatory in project management and business operations, strategic planning, budgeting and monitoring, resource mobilization, internal operational and administrative risks, procurement of goods and services, IT, Human Resources, and Security.

Prior to joining the Observatory, Loïc was Programme Officer (Management) at the World Health Organization (WHO) Centre for Health Development in Kobe, Japan. Loïc has a long career in international development and global health, spanning 20 years across Africa, Asia and Europe.

Mr Garçon holds a PGDip in Global Health Policy, an MA in Social sciences and an MBA.
