Biography

Divya has been part of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies team at the Berlin Hub, based at the Technical University of Berlin, since October 2025. Prior to this, she worked as a student assistant for the Observatory from September 2024.

She contributes to a range of Observatory projects, including OBS-PACE, which focuses on cancer research, care, and policies across the European Union, as well as other collaborative initiatives.

Her main research interests include cancer care, mental health, health systems, digital health, and artificial intelligence in healthcare.

Divya holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Southern Medical University, an MSc in Health Services Management from the University of Technology, Mauritius, and an MSc in Epidemiology from Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. She is a qualified medical doctor with clinical training and experience in both Mauritius and the Republic of China.

Before joining the Observatory, she worked in the public hospital system in Mauritius across several departments and contributed to the national vaccination programme during the COVID-19 pandemic.
