Cristina Ribeiro Russo

Cristina is a member of the Observatory’s Secretariat in Brussels.  

Her work focuses on the Management of the Observatory’s Projects/Grants from the negotiation of donor agreements to the monitoring, completion and financial reporting of the projects. Her role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders like WHO, the European Commission, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Governments, and other Organizations or Institutions to ensure the full implementation of the projects. 

In addition to that, Cristina plays a role in the Resource Mobilization, securing new and additional resources. 

Cristina has a master’s degree in translation from Haute École Francisco Ferrer (Brussels, Belgium). Before joining the Observatory, she worked in the Health Directorate of the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation at the European Commission for 6 years.
