Bernd Rechel

Bernd is a member of the Observatory’s London hub, being based at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.  

He is coordinator, author and editor of Observatory studies and HiT health system reviews, policy briefs, Country Health Profiles, HiT summaries, and rapid evidence reviews, having published more than 200 publications. He works with Observatory partners and WHO member states on evidence briefings, rapid response reports and policy dialogues.

Bernd also manages contributions to the Health Systems and Policy Monitor (HSPM) and the COVID-19 Health Systems Response Monitor (HSRM).
