Anna Maresso

Technical Officer

Biography

Anna is a member of the Observatory’s Berlin office based at the University of Technology Berlin. 

She is the Observatory’s Technical Officer, managing the Health Systems in Transition (HiT) series, coordinating the Health Systems and Policies Monitor (HSPM) network activities and co-leading the State of Health in the EU programme, in co-operation with European Commission and OECD partners. She also is one of the coordinators of the Covid-19 Health Systems Response Monitor (HSRM).  For many years she was an editor of the journal Eurohealth. Her work focuses on the health systems and health policy in Western European countries and she continues to edit and author HiTs from countries in this region as well as other publications. 

Anna has an MSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics & Political Science and a degree in political science from the University of Sydney, Australia.
