Anna Maresso

Biography

Anna is a member of the Observatory’s Berlin office, based at the Technical University of Berlin. 

She manages the Observatory’s country monitoring workstream, which includes directing the Health Systems Reviews and Health System Summaries series, coordinating the various outputs of the Health Systems and Policies Monitor (HSPM) network and co-leading the delivery of the State of Health in the EU programme with European Commission and OECD partners. For many years she was an editor of the journal Eurohealth. Her work focuses on comparative health systems and she continues to edit and author Heath System Reviews as well as policy briefs and  other publications. 

Anna has an MSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics & Political Science and a degree in Government and Public Administration from the University of Sydney, Australia.
